GPRS/EGPRS standards applied to DTC of a DFIG using fuzzy – PI controllers

Wireless communication applications for smart grids are a novel trend in renewable energy solutions. However, the problem of interference in the channel must be considered. The GPRS/EGPRS standards could be used to transmit the reference signals to the wind power system. A Direct Torque Control technique for a DFIG was proposed to testing the reactive power and the electromagnetic torque step changes according to the grid conditions using the wireless references signals. A Fuzzy-tuned PI controller was included to optimize the calculation of its proportional and the integral gains. Simulations were done in Matlab/Simulink to evaluate the behavior of the control technique via GPRS-CS1, EGPRS-MCS1 and EGPRS-MCS5 standards. The total harmonic distortion for the stator currents injected to the grid is also evaluated.     

Consequences of large customer opt-out: An Ohio example

Opt-out policies allow large customers to withdraw from participation in utility sector efficiency programs. Our analysis shows these policies impose high costs, including increased utility system investments due to higher demand, increased air pollution within the state and surrounding regions, higher health costs because of the increased air pollution, and lost bill savings opportunities for large customers, leading to lost economic growth. We examine the consequences using Ohio as an example.     

标准麻花钻三维建模研究

根据锥后刀面标准麻花钻直线刃的数学方程求得其螺旋槽曲面参数方程及截形参数方程,根据该截形参数方程,借助Matlab软件的数据处理功能,计算得到标准麻花钻截形曲线上的数据离散点集。将此点集导入到UG软件中,利用UG软件拟合出标准麻花钻截形曲线,生成锥后刀面标准麻花钻钻体。最后,选择合适的锥后刀面标准麻花钻国标刃磨参数,用UG软件得到其后刀面。在建立锥后刀面标准麻花钻三维模型的基础上,本文还针对"翘尾"现象给出了一种用UG软件分析的方法。     

物流项目用地规划建设标准的评价与优化——以广州市为例

随着商品流通业态的转变,物流行业发展迅猛,物流项目用地在城市迅速扩张.然而相对居住等其它类型的用地,物流项目用地缺乏完善的规划建设标准,导致用地效率低下、空间布局失范、难以适应物流行业与城市发展要求等问题.从规划建设管理角度出发,通过对现有物流相关标准的梳理和国内外案例的借鉴,在定义物流园区、物流中心、配送中心三大类物流项目用地分类的基础上,按照"分类+分项"的构建思路,遵循"用地+配套"、"刚性+弹性"原则,以广州市为实证对象,提出了选址要求、开发强度、用地比例、建筑及设施4大类17小类指标体系及取值,构建了物流项目用地规划建设标准.     

Intangible Asset Dynamics and Firm Behaviour

We study the adoption of different patterns of intangible asset (IA) accumulation in manufacturing firms. Contrary to most of the previous literature, we find such patterns to be highly differentiated. In particular, we identify three types of firm behaviour: high and persistent, low and persistent, and discontinuous. We link the capability-based view of the firm to theories of asset complementarities and market signalling to explain how firm-specific traits affect such behaviours. We obtain the following results: first, the persistent accumulation of IAs is favoured by the internal availability of highly skilled personnel; second, firms with (a) large IA base and (b) high propensity to exploit complementarities in the asset stocks are more likely to persistently accumulate IAs than to discontinuously or never accumulate IAs and third, the adoption of quality management standards facilitates the accumulation of IAs, especially if this is done discontinuously. This paper adds to the previous literature in two ways: first, it highlights the existence of great heterogeneity in the dynamics of IA accumulation and, second, it provides an explanation for such heterogeneity.     

海潮影响区抽水试验静止水位取值的探讨

滨海地区地下水受潮汐影响而波动,在该地区进行抽水试验,其静止水位取值是一个难点。本文以宁波市蛇蟠涂围垦区S1号孔抽水试验为例,通过建立孔内地下水与潮水的峰谷值水位联动关系,利用易获取的潮水位峰、谷值数据来推算地下水位的峰、谷值,从而计算地下水的静止水位。研究表明,S1号孔内水位大致呈正弦曲线形态波动,与临近闸口的潮水位基本同步达到峰、谷值,且孔内水位变幅与潮差之比η≈0.3。基于以上规律及观测数据,分别构建了孔内水位的峰、谷值与潮水位的峰、谷值的拟合方程。当同步观测的潮水位、观测孔水位及抽水孔水位曲线形态一致时(即同步到达波峰和波谷),视为动水位达到稳定,此时取孔内水位峰、谷值的平均值作为静止水位。试验结果显示,抽水试验的3个落程单位涌水量相差均在10%之内,其抽水试验成果准确度较高,说明该静止水位取值方法是恰当和可行的,可为海潮影响区抽水试验静止水位的取值提供参考和借鉴。
